Dia de los Muertos Street Fair and Parade at Historic Market Square

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at the Historic Market Square with a special procession Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. by Las Monas! Be a part of the fun with children's activities, live music, food booths and arts and crafts vendors!

Sunday's 1 pm parade and processional will be led by Austin Samba.

La Villita's Annual Dia de los Muertos Parade and Festival

Día de Los Muertos Celebration brings together traditional art and culture with the best in live music entertainment to create a two-day destination event for the City of San Antonio to celebrate the Day of the Dead. The event hosts a variety of activities over the weekend celebration including the largest open altar exhibition in the city.

Saturday, October 28, 2017 10am – 11pm
Sunday, October 29, 2017, noon – 10 pm

Events are free and open to the public including: live music at Arneson River Theater; original Day of the Dead art; living altar; dance, drum and puppet procession led by Austin Samba at 3pm; live poetry and more!
